Oh! Our show with Baltimore's SURROUNDINGS has been officially rescheduled. More on that in the coming months, but get psyched regardless. We sure are.

Motherfucker of a motherfucker...
Not to hi-jack this page for my own personal gain(full disclosure: I am doing this PURELY for my own gain), but I'm selling a left-handed Epiphone Les Paul Standard. Y'know, just saying...
That's all the news, folks. I'll leave you with this:
Thursday, October 15, 2009
We've got a show with Baltimore's chosen ones, Surroundings, on November 5th. The bill includes many hard 'n heavy jams, courtesy of the lovely Creeper and Culture Cease. We're pretty fucking excited about this show, and you should be, too.
I know we've been talking a lot about recordings, but we should be getting them soon, mixing them, and then releasing them on CD-R, Cassette, and also for free on the line.
That's all you get to know, for now.

News of the world!
Secondly, we're lazily tracking some jams. This means we're spending more time working on new ones, so you'll hear tracks you never dreamt possible, and life's mysteries will slowly unravel before your eyes, sending you into a downward spiral of erotic displeasure. Or some shit.
Otherwise, we're on the look out for shows outside of the People's Republic of Toronto, so if you're reading this and want to hook us up, we'd love to visit you, sleep on your floor, and talk to you about Jesus Christ, our personal lord and saviour, if you have an hour to spare, that is. Or just let us rip in your basement or church hall for the small donation of some cash for gas. We're cheap dates, really.
Also, America produced True Widow and Sick Fix. Two amazing bands. Unrelated, other than being extremely awesome unto themselves. Don't miss out on either, please.
In Jesus' name,
Pete

TWO NEW SONGS!
We actually have music on our MySpace page now! Head on over to www.myspace.com/blackfaxes to check it out. They are raw. And tender. Much like Peter's testicles after an argument with a sewer grate.

Fuck Off Cancer!
http://fuckoffcancer.com - check it out, donate some time or cash, and do something to help the world.
All that being said, last night's show was awesome. Raised some cash, fought some good fights, and made some rad new friends. If you weren't there, you missed a suitably loud performance by us(yeah, we're pretty proud of things like that), a rippin' set by the lovely dudes in Ball Harness, and of course, AKROID fucking destroyed on so many levels.
We're looking forward to the summer, and playing many shows, especially once we have our demo finished. Then you'll never get rid of us. Daddy likes.
Monday, June 1, 2009
- Show this Wednesday, June 3rd at 751. There may be a lot of amplifiers taking up space, so come early and avoid the shame often associated with the failure you'd experience otherwise. Remember, it's FREE, and we're warming it up for Ball Harness(check out their new material), and muthafuckin' AKROID. Three highly attractive bands, one night, and we're tearing it up in the name of Cancer Research. Donate some cash, or buy one of the shirts Lindsey has been making BY HAND. Don't sleep on this.
- The Dave and Chuck show appearance has been postponed until they move into their new studio, but all this means is a period of truly unrealized, fantastic incubation. Prepare for it!
- Peter and Marty's other band, the Blackouts, are playing their final show ever. Tina wants out of the family business, and no amount of severed horse heads can change her mind. So, June 21st, the Blackouts will be killing it opening for the Vibrators. Tina has tickets. Buy one(or many, it'll help you make cool and interesting friends).
- We won't have those demos for the show, but we'll have them soon. We may put up 'Hog Futures' and a special cover jam for your aural pleasures. Lick the dirt and keep alert like Chuck Norris.
- On a final, unrelated and personal note, Amebix playing live is approved by Graham and myself.
