...is off to a great start.

Demos are almost ready. We put up a couple of the new tracks on MySpace. Many thanks to Veikko for helping us out with recording. We'll likely have them by the end of this week, which will coincide nicely with our first brave foray outside of Toronto to play St Catherines on January 16th. If you happen to be in that beautiful part of the province and think that wine tasting tours are lame (personally, I think they're the shit) you should come down, eat some tasty vegan dishes and check the bands out. We're also looking to play out of town a bit more nowadays (as much as we adore the cold, ineffectual lover we call home) so please get in touch through blackfaxes@gmail.com or our MySpace (linked above) if you can be of any help.

KILLER!

Sunday was rad. A lot of bullshit leading up to the day, but we made it through, and no one had to die(seriously, someone almost had to die)! Huge thanks to everyone who was willing to offer gear to us on such short notice. Especially Mr. Woodford, of Titan, who kindly loaned a left-handed guitar. Heavy music needs more fine people following the left-hand path. Or some shit.

Anyway, January 16 in St. Catherines, and March 1st in Toronto(with Surroundings motherfuckers!), and a bunch of shit from here to there. Let's do this up right, shall we?

We'll have real, honest-to-god recordings available soon. We got them back, we're happy, and now we're going to force them down your damn throats.

BANG BANG

So we did some recording a couple of weeks ago, and the fruit of our loins has now been posted on our MySpace page in the form of a new song called "Honest Work". There's also more where that came from, so stay tuned for new updates. Hopefully (if we can finally get our collective shit together) we're going to have cassettes for sale by the end of the year.

Oh! Our show with Baltimore's SURROUNDINGS has been officially rescheduled. More on that in the coming months, but get psyched regardless. We sure are.

So, that Surroundings show? Didn't happen. Bummer, but we'll get by. Those recordings? Not our finest performances, but we're recording this weekend. The good news? A bunch of new tracks, and all heavy. Shows coming up in December, with recordings available for all y'all.
